Six core competencies

- C3.1: Expand global perspective and comparative research on education
- C3.2: Strengthen knowledge innovation and international academic competencies
The following six core competences are essential to graduation for all students:
- Core Competence 1: Enhance interpersonal communication and teamwork skills: "Service Learning" score table.
- Core Competence 2: Put educational ethics and life education into practice: “Educational Ethics and Life Education Research, Affection and Moral Education, Information Ethics and Literacy Research or Consultation Professional Ethics Research Report" score table.
- Core Competence 3-1: Enhance theoretical, practical and critical thinking abilities
- Core Competence 3-2: Enhance theoretical, practical and critical thinking abilities : Master's Degree Thesis Score Table.
- Core Competence 3-3: Enhance theoretical, practical and critical thinking abilities : "Master's Thesis".
- Core Competence 4: Advance capabilities in academic research and the application of information technology "Academic Presentation" score scale.
- Core Competence 5: Expand global horizons and comparative research. "International educational exchange " Assessment form.
- Core Competence 6: Strengthen knowledge innovation and international academic competencies. "International Academic Exchange" Assessment Form Students must complete all assessments before graduation.

- In accordance with Ming Chuan University Procedures for Proficiency-based Graduation Requirements, Ming Chuan University Enforcement Rules for Graduate School of Education Fundamental Professional Competencies Requirements (herewith called the enforcement rules) were established to increase students’ competitiveness for their future careers and higher education.
- To attain graduation eligibility, graduate students admitted in the 2010-11 AY and beyond must meet the graduation requirements for Fundamental Professional Competencies stated in these enforcement rules.
- Graduate students are required to meet the fundamental professional competencies outlined below during their period of study.

- Prior to graduation, graduate students who fail to meet the above requirements must enroll in and meet the standards of the specified remedial courses set by the Graduate School to attain graduation eligibility.
- Graduate students who meet the graduation requirements for these fundamental professional competencies should submit relevant certificates or score reports. After completion of these procedures, the students will be verified as meeting the graduation requirements.
- Upon being passed at the Graduate School/School/University Academic Affairs Committee Meetings and approved by the President, these enforcement rules were implemented. Any revision must follow the same procedure.
